Aymen Murrani joined Nisen, Price, Worthy, Campo, P.A. in April 2023. His practice focuses on representing general contractors, subcontractors and owners in litigation and arbitration, often in multi-party construction disputes. Before entering private practice, Aymen served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Roy B. Dalton Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, where he gained firsthand insight into federal and state practice and honed his legal analysis and writing. Prior to clerking for Judge Dalton, Aymen spent several years working in Florida’s child welfare system as a case manager, child protective investigator, supervisor and investigations instructor. Earlier in his career, he served as an interpreter and local liaison for the United States Army for critical missions in Baghdad, Iraq.
Aymen graduated magna cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2023, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif and ranked in the top 5% of his class. In law school, Aymen also served on the Law Review, which not only provided him with the opportunity to further his legal writing and research skills, but also to expand his knowledge about multiple substantive areas of law. Aymen earned his B.A. in Criminology and Law, cum laude, from the University of Florida in 2015.
Aymen brings both skill and results to his construction law practice. Representative work includes:
- Obtaining a near seven-figure settlement on behalf of a homeowner in a construction defect dispute.
- Successfully defeating and discharging a six-figure construction lien through a show cause action.
- Obtaining a lien foreclosure in an action against a multi-unit commercial property.
- Securing the release of a lien through a notice of contest of lien.
- Successfully mediating several seven-figure construction lien / defective construction and delay counter-claim cases.
